Knit on DK weight yarn. Size 6 and 3 needles.
Fits the average 4 month old. (Literally. My son is in the 50th percentile for head size. Legit average sized head. This fit him perfectly at 4 months.)
I’ve been able to make 4-5 baby bonnets out of two skiens of Snuggly DK. (I alternated which color was the main color and which was the accent)
